I am a massive fan of Pink Floyd, I love every single thing about their material. I've been a fan since 2001 when my uncle sadlypassed away and the song "Comfortably Numb" was played at his funeral, a little morbid perhaps but I've loved them ever since.
I think they are amazing.
Boyd Clack is a huge fan, in fact they are his favourite band, he say's they have a sort of "church/hymnal" quality to them!
Anybody else fans of the Floyd on here? |

Thing is with the Floyd, individual tracks aren't much cop without the rest of the album to back them up. They're kinda classic rock/prog/atmospherics/weird/psychadelic/flowers/churchsounding(Quoting Boyd!)/qualitymusicgenreofthierown! hehe
Seriously entire albums are better to listen to than individual tracks, unfortunately it's the long way around but I'd seriously recommend 'The Wall', 'Dark Side of the Moon', 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Pulse' - probably one of the best live music CD's/DVD's you'll ever buy...EVER!
As for tracks, 'Comfortably Numb' and 'Another Brick In The Wall: Part 2' are probably the most recognisable, with quality solo's from the Gilmour himself. |
